The name CamiX
I was recently asked: where does the name CamiX come from? When I started my company, I felt it would be a reflection of myself – a mix of breadth and depth, acquired skills and personal experiences. The name is a play on my own name: Camilla. Remove a and join both ll as a cross – CamiX. The creative side of me has always been there and is growing more and more, and now I also sign my art with CamiX.se.

 

My journey
My journey has not been without trials. Many years ago, a tumor was discovered in my chest, the size of a grapefruit. A long and complicated operation followed, in which I also lost organs. Afterwards, I was physically weak, had difficulty concentrating and struggled to regain my strength, both physically and mentally. By taking one small step at a time, listening inwardly and following my inner guidance, I have gradually regained my power. The long scar that stretches across the entire front of my body is today a reminder of what I have overcome, rather than a symbol of weakness.

I share my story with the hope of inspiring you, no matter where you are in life. By paying attention to small joys like the sunlight through the trees or the wind on the cheek, we can all replenish the inner source of strength and move forward - one day at a time.

 

More about me
With over two decades of experience in holistic health, I combine Eastern and Western medicine in my work as an acupuncturist and healer, member of The Swedish Acupuncture Association. I am also a certified astrologer and health counselor, and my goal is to inspire you to live a soulful life with balance, harmony and an open heart. I have also had the privilege of working with both people and animals, especially horses, who have inspired me with their wisdom and presence since I was a child. I am trained in agriculture and have studied "Movement, structure and function of the horse at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, SLU and a structural engineer with a creative side.
